O&M Data Analyst Energy Storage

 

 

The candidate will be responsible to contribute to the organizational setup of the digitalization of the O&M BESS Operational Efficiency monitoring and control. In particular the candidate has to follow the digitalization and platformization of process & procedure, implementation of operational data, KPI, Remote Predictive Diagnostics. The ideal candidate has Engineering/Mathematical/Physical or similar degree and 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BESS design and integration within energy sector.

 

Main responsibilities:  

 

  • To manage the relevant operational efficiency process supporting Country O&M units, defining the criteria to measure and monitor efficiency indicators of BESS plants, assigning efficiency targets and ensuring field data collection quality;
  • To perform a first level analysis, identifying best practices, improvement solutions and specific action plans, and verifying their effectiveness;
  • To identify and assure the developing of monitoring and reporting tools, relying also on Business Intelligence, Big Data, digital transformation outcomes;
  • To assure continuous development and implementation of analytic and predictive tools, models and methodologies, and supporting the diagnostic process liaising with other relevant units;
  • To ensure remote predictive diagnostic monitoring, performing a first level analysis and giving feedback to the plants;
  • To optimize and consolidate maintenance plans and outages needs, relying also on risk-based maintenance tools and strategies;
  • To elaborate guidelines and instructions in order to define O&M processes
  • To optimize production budget/plan and technical KPIs;
  • To implement and monitor technology specific indicators aimed at identifying the root cause and to define dedicated remediation plans

 

Requirements:

 

  • Knowledge of electric, electronics automation and mechanical processes;
  • Knowledge of laws and rules in force concerning industrial activities;
  • Ability to collect and analyze operations data and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in order to monitor process, determine causes of component/equipment/system failures, promote actions for availability and efficiency improvement, prevent future occurrence and improve maintenance strategy;
  • Knowledge of estimation of time and cost concerning maintenance/plant modification works, monitor progress and apply project management principles and practices;
  • Digital skills: excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
  • Fluent English is mandatory, Italian and Spanish are desirable;
  • Willingness to short business trip.
