Quality Engineer

On behalf of a multinational company, leader in designing and manufacturing highly-engineered equipment for chemical, oil and gas, and power industries, we are looking for a:


Quality Engineer (QA/QE)


The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering, or a similar level of education. He/she has at least two years of previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management System application (ISO9001) and has a good knowledge of European/worldwide regulations and standards (ATEX, MDR, PED, TR, CU, IECEX, FM etc.).

Key responsibilities QE:

 

  • Specialist and competence department for all quality electro duties (QE) in concern of Electro- instruments / control units / induction motors;
  • Sales Support; review of specifications / preparing QE- Tender test & inspection plans;
  • Responsible for content and actuality of QE test and inspection plans;
  • Preparing project related QE- inspection & test plans based on extensive clients specifications and legislative or normative requirements;
  • Review and commenting of supplier’s “for approval documentation” together with EMSR project leader during project phase;
  • Attending Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM) at sub-vendors or customers;
  • Discussing of approvals and further specifications with client, in house or external;
  • Carrying out inspections at sub suppliers place, for instrument boards, control panels, main motors, final skids (Oil, Water & Compressor) etc. in consultation of EMSR project leader;
  • Review and release of test certificates (EN10204, 2.1 / 2.2 / 3.1 / 3.2 or others) from suppliers;
  • Finalize and preparing complete overall QE Quality documentation;
  • Check of incoming goods materials for electrical components purchased to suppliers;
  • Consultant for Audits within QE department;
  • Standards, Instructions, Regulations:

- Competence center for machine and engineering standards, norms and regulations;

- Assistance center in review of standards and regulations within EMSR area.

 

Key responsibilities QA:

 

  • Sales Support; review of specifications / preparing QA- Tender test & inspection plans;
  • Preparation of Inspection- and test plans; thus, implementing customer specification requirements, and legislative or normative requirements;
  • Attending Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM) at sub-vendors or customers;
  • Review and commenting of supplier’s “for approval documentation” (mainly pressure vessels, piping, skid packages etc.) against specification requirements (i.e. manufacturing drawings, parts lists, calculations, welding details, etc.);
  • Review and release of material certificates (EN10204, 2.1 / 2.2 / 3.1 / 3.2 or others) and/or NDT certificates;
  • Expediting of purchase orders with suppliers in the specified territory (in conjunction with PM / purchasing);
  • Carrying out inspections at sub suppliers place for pressure vessels, process piping, packaged units, (Oil, Water & Compressor) etc. in consultation of PE project leader;
  • Finalize and preparing complete overall QA Quality documentation;
  • Consultant for Audits within QA department;
  • Conducting supplier assessment audits (ISO9001);
  • Check of incoming goods materials for mechanical components purchased to suppliers;
  • Standards, Instructions, Regulations:

- Competence center for machine and engineering standards, norms and regulations

- Assistance center in review of standards and regulations within Mechanical area


In addition to PC skills (Word, Excel, SAP), a good command of written and spoken English is essential.
