Senior Project Manager

Renewable Generation (RG) is an important and growing division of Shell Renewables and Energy Solutions (RES). RG is a global team working from regional hubs in the America’s, Europe and Asia, that is responsible for RES’s growth and profitable position in large scale grid connected renewable power generation, principally solar photovoltaics, onshore wind and battery storage. The RG team Develops, Builds and Operates solar and wind assets either through organic growth or via acquisition of development “platforms”.

RG has a big global footprint, that is growing rapidly. Through the acquisitions of platforms in the US, in India, in Nigeria, in Spain and in Italy Shell has rapidly got access to a significant pipeline of around 50GW of projects. In Italy RG has created a funnel of very mature opportunities (2 GW). The company is now transitioning from from 3 years of value-accretive growth to delivering projects to COD. In 2023 we are starting construction on 7 projects.

Shell hires people not just for a specific job, but also for a career. With the growing global footprint, there is a wide range of jobs within RG, but also in adjacent businesses like in Green Hydrogen, that could be pursued after the first role.
