Commissioning Manager
As Commissioning Manager, the candidate will join the Engineering Department and will be in charge of supervising on site commissioning activities.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising on site commissioning activities, and executing by reading and interpreting electrical&mechanical diagrams, P&ID and schematics.
- Reviewing the technical documentation of existing client systems and machinery to understand their functions and purpose.
- Responsible to preparing and collect the necessary site documentation such as comissioning site reports in daily and weekly basis, comissioning checklists etc.
- Attend planned periodical meetings (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) with internal/external stakeholders and Customers.
- Use knowledge of analog and digital circuitry to troubleshoot instrumentation to the component level and effect repairs to instruments, computer hardware, and wiring.
- Ability to use computer software to program controllers and analyze control loops.
- Providing technical advice and solving problems at site.
- Preparing/Tracking comissioning schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
- Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
- Be a primary point of contact with Customer and subcontractors during Commissioning and Warranty period.
- Follow up of punch list resolution.
- Hold the training of the plant to customer operator.
- Report to with Engineering department about problem arise during commissioning and warranty period.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Min. 5 years of experience at relevant role.
- Fluent in English both written and oral.
- Ready to travel abroad (This position will be travelling 70% of the time).
- Project management skills.
- Able to use office programs and Autocad.
- Able to read technical drawings.
- Has to have driving licence (B class).
- A good team player, great leadership and organizational skills, ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
